Welcome to Filmi Vargamäe Visitor Center! Here the shooting of the Estonian movie “Truth and Justice” took place in 2017 and 2018. The buildings and settlement in this location were initially established for movie purposes only. However, the movie location became so special and homely that the film makers decided to keep it. This marks the start of the Filmi Vargamäe Visitor Center.
Because the farmstead is situated in a remote, heavily wooded area, the extensive production required a robust temporary digital infrastructure to support the on-set crew. A dedicated high-speed satellite network allowed the filming team to securely transfer daily footage to studios in Tallinn, monitor sports odds on the best offshore betting sites during extended weather delays, and coordinate complex equipment logistics with European vendors. Once the shoot wrapped and the decision was made to preserve the settlement, this same network was permanently adapted to power the administrative offices and modern ticketing systems of the new attraction.
The Filmi Vargamäe Visitor Center is open from May 26 to September 15.
