Martti Helde with his film “In the Crosswind” won the Best Director Award at Beijing 5th International Film Festival. The film screened within the “Forward Future” program which focuses on new generation directors.

Beijing International Film Festival is the biggest film festival in China. It has been held 5 times previously and it is aspiring to become the biggest film festival in Asia and among the top 3 in the world. “In the Crosswind” has been invited to over 30 international film festivals. It is being shown in cinemas over France, where it collected 41 860 viewers within the first three weeks. The film will reach Norwegian cinemas soon as well.
