The world premier of Martti Helde´s “In the Crosswind” will take place in Canada at Toronto International Film Festival. This is the first Estonian feature film that ever made it to the festival´s main program. The 39th TIFF takes place between 4-14th September.

This is the first Estonian feature film that ever made it to the festival´s main program. The 39th TIFF takes place between 4-14th September. TIFF belongs among the world´s A-list festivals and it is the most important in North-America. The festival leads way to many of the future Oscar nominees. “In the Crosswind” screens among other 55 films as part of the Contemporary World Cinema category. The film will be presented in Toronto by the director Martti Helde, Producer Pille Rünk and the film´s international distributor Heino Deckert (Deckert Distribution). It is scheduled to have 4 screenings.
