Mari has terminal cancer. That’s on top of fighting for custody of her daughter. In the midst of this all stands Oliver, the ever-smiling 12-year-old son. Mari prepares him for her death, how to talk or even play football with her after she passes away. When that day comes, he continues to share his life with her – not even death can separate them. This is a film about a young boy coming of age and navigating his life in a time of profound and irreversible change, finding his own way to grieve.
